The 77th annual Thanksgiving Eve Parade is set to make a comeback in uptown Charlotte this week, just ahead of the holiday festivities.

Scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 5:45 p.m., this free family-friendly event promises a delightful spectacle featuring festive floats, balloons, performers, marching bands, and more.

The parade will kick off at 9th Street and wind its way down Tryon Street, concluding at Good Samaritan Way. To facilitate this celebration, certain streets will be closed on the day of the event, with specific timings as follows:
5 a.m.: Tryon Street from 9th to 11th streets; 11th Street between Church and College streets, along with cross streets 10th and Montford Pt. streets.
9 a.m.: Closure of the seating area at N. Tryon from MLK Jr. Boulevard to Brooklyn Village Avenue; Levine Avenue will also be closed.
4 p.m.: Good Samaritan Way shuts down between Church and College streets.
5 p.m.: Parade route closure on Tryon Street from 9th to Morehead streets.
Following the conclusion of the parade, streets are expected to reopen, likely around 8 p.m.
