What if the Heart of the Ocean didn’t find its way to the depths of the sea? This intriguing scenario was playfully explored by Kate Beckinsale, an apparent Titanic enthusiast, at Leonardo DiCaprio’s 49th birthday celebration over the weekend.
Beckinsale donned a striking ensemble reminiscent of the iconic necklace, sporting a black velvet bodysuit with a corseted, lace-up back. The strapless top featured three rows of large rhinestones, mimicking the appearance of diamond necklaces cascading down her bodysuit.

The focal point, however, was an enormous three-dimensional radiant cut sapphire, though not an exact replica of the film’s heart-shaped stone. Encircled by a halo of additional white rhinestones, the embellishments snaked over her hips and around her back. From the rear view, Beckinsale embraced the pantless trend, complementing her bodysuit with sheer black stockings.
Embracing a maximalist approach, Beckinsale paired her bold attire with black stiletto heels featuring a towering lucite platform. Round lucite bangles adorned each wrist, and in the realm of gems, she opted for more-is-more, showcasing dangling bejeweled earrings and carrying a black purse with a bedazzled trim. To complete the festive look for the birthday celebration, she added an oversized black bow to her high ponytail.
One can only imagine Leonardo DiCaprio’s reaction to being unexpectedly reunited with the long-lost Heart of the Ocean after all these years.
