The Kardashians have released the teaser trailer for their new reality show after deciding to end their 14-year run on US network E!
While 2021 marked the end of Keeping Up With The Kardashians as we know it, the mega-famous reality TV family is bringing a revamped version of the series to Hulu, simply titled The Kardashians.
A promo trailer for the new series was released online, with fans flocking to the comments to point out one member of Kardashian clan didn’t look so happy.
The clip showed Kris Jenner, Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie introducing the show and wishing fans a Happy New Year, with the caption: “New year, new beginnings. See you soon.”
Excited fans were quick to joke about Kourtney, 42, in the trailer, who appeared stony-faced while the rest of her siblings smiled happily.
“The way Kourtney is already done with their new show and it hasn’t even started I’m dead,” one fan laughed.
“She is already tired and complaining,” another wrote, while one pointed out: “Kourtney looks so done.”
One Twitter user added: “I need Kim to remind her this is her only job.”
It is no secret the eldest Kardashian sibling has had a difficult relationship with filming for KUWTK, after Kourtney told fans she was stepping back from the show in 2020.
“I have decided to take a big step back from filming and really just pick and choose what I will allow cameras to follow,” Kourtney said during a confessional.
“I think just now, when I have something that I find is interesting to film, or that I would feel excited to film, that I do that.”
The mother-of-three also described the filming environment as “toxic” after spending so many years of her life in front of the camera.
“I have been filming the show nonstop for 14 years — 19 seasons and 6 spin-off seasons,” Kourtney told Vogue Arabia. “I was feeling unfulfilled and it became a toxic environment for me to continue to have it occupy as much of my life as it was.”
After 14 years of airing the show on cable network E!, the Kardashians made the decision to end the show after its 20th season.
The reality star family then announced they would be moving the show to Hulu with a new look for the iconic series.
