RHOSLC: Why Bravo Will Still Film Jen Shah After Her Shocking Arrest

Jen Shah from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was arrested and she’s been accused of serious crimes. Bravo may see her issues as a storyline.

Jen Shah is the resident bad girl of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and she is not worried about her future with Bravo, as the network plans to keep filming her after her arrest. This makes perfect sense to fans. Viewers know that this scandal will bring an unprecedented amount of drama to the franchise. Many people tune in just for the drama.

The 47-year-old and her “first assistant” Stuart Smith entered not guilty pleas when they appeared in the federal courthouse on April 2. Both have been charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing. Both were also charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering. Bravo filmed Teresa Giudice from The Real Housewives of New Jersey. She was convicted of mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud and went to prison.  The network is planning on doing the same with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen. The housewife is currently out on a one million dollar bond and awaiting her trial.

The popular cable network’s execs have decided to continue featuring Shah in the series. Bravo plans to make the federal fraud and money laundering charges a big part of RHOSLC season 2.
