In Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong, there is a briefcase in the loft that Leysha can open using a code found in one of the other rooms.
There are clues and new information to find throughout the loft in Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong, including some secret documents hidden inside a locked briefcase. The code for the briefcase in the loft can be found within the apartment, but it can be difficult to locate. Luckily, the code isn’t far from the briefcase, and players will be able to find and enter it quickly to claim the contents within.
The loft briefcase is in an apartment that Leysha investigates early on during the third scene in the Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong narrative adventure. There’s a lot to find while investigating the apartment, including a note, a tape, and a witness who’s presumed dead. Uncovering all of the loft’s secrets takes a lot of thorough detective work and a few disguises. To unlock the briefcase, Leysha will need to gain access to the crime scene.
Before entering the loft and gathering some evidence, Leysha will need to be disguised as a police officer. At the entrance to the apartment, Leysha will be stopped by a couple of officers who prohibit her from entering, so a disguise needs to be worn. Unfortunately, Leysha needs to copy the uniform of a higher-ranking officer, so the ones guarding the door can’t be used. Instead, players can turn invisible to get past the first two officers, then locate the detective in the next room.
Finding & Using The Cellphone Code In Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong
Leysha can use the Mask of One Thousand Faces ability in Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong to copy the detective’s outfit in the first room, then go into the nearby safe room to change. After putting on the uniform, Leysha will be able to explore the crime scene and find the locked briefcase, as well as the code that opens it. The briefcase is in the kitchen, so players will need to do some investigating first. There will be a few confrontations with Halsey before the briefcase and its code are accessible.
Once in the kitchen, players can spot a silver briefcase with a keypad on the counter. Inspecting it won’t help with opening the briefcase, but the code can be found in a nearby room. Inside the wine cellar, there’s a body crushed beneath one of the racks, and there’s a cellphone next to the corpse’s hand. Interacting with the cellphone will reveal a few texts, and the code can be found in the messages. The last code, which is 6159, can be used to unlock the briefcase.
After reviewing the texts, players can return to the kitchen and enter 6159 using the keypad on the briefcase. There are invoices and files inside in Berel Underwood’s name. Taking the contents within the briefcase will remove suspicious evidence. The briefcase is one of many different objects that Leysha can interact with during the loft investigation in Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong.
