Warzone Pacific Goldflake Error: What it is & How to Fix It
A new Goldflake Error message appears in Warzone Pacific that prevents people from playing online. Here’s how players can fix the problem.
The latest Call of Duty: Warzone error involves a problem that interrupts game sessions and has become more prevalent since the Warzone Pacific Season 1 update. The new Goldflake Error makes the battle royale mode unplayable for players, much like other errors in Warzone. The problem causing the Goldflake Error has been identified; however, there is no permanent solution for the problem right now.
The Goldflake Status error occurs in Warzone when the user puts the console or PC into some of kind power-saving state mode. These power rest modes exist on the PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The error pops up whenever a player tries to go back into the game after powering the system back on from rest mode.
The Goldflake Error has also appeared for Warzone players on the Xbox Series X/S whenever they use the ‘Quick Resume’ feature. Quick Resume on Xbox consoles can be triggered by simply pressing the controller’s power/Xbox logo button. Therefore, launching Quick Resume on Xbox consoles has also been identified as a potential reason for the Goldflake Error.
How To Fix The Goldflake Error in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific
The solution for the Goldflake Error in Warzone Pacific is not permanent and will keep coming back often. However, to mitigate the problem, Warzone players need to follow four steps to remove the Goldflake Error:
- Players will need to first encounter the Status Goldflake error in the Warzone: Pacific Menu.
- Once encountered, players need to restart their console/PC from a cold state.
- Once the console/system restarts, relaunch Modern Warfare or Warzone Pacific.
- The error message should have gone away, and players can start playing online matches again.
If the above steps do not work for Warzone players, they must restart their router and the console to try the above steps again. If it still doesn’t work, the last option involves uninstalling Warzone Pacific and reinstalling the game again. The reinstall usually fixes major error issues; however, there is still a chance for the ‘Goldflake Error’ to appear.
Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific has been riddled with problems since Activision released the new Caldera Map. However, notable changes in Warzone Pacific made the Battle Royale formula interesting for new and seasoned players. The update has added a new Weapon Attachments system and new perks that Warzone players can utilize in battles. However, Activision needs to permanently fix the Goldflake Error in a future update to enjoy these new additions without interruptions.
Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific is available on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One & Series X/S, and PC.
