Little People Big World’s Zach Roloff is not afraid to admit that he believes his father, Matt Roloff, is a master manipulator on the show.
Little People Big World‘s Zach Roloff is not changing his words when it comes to sharing how he feels his father, Matt Roloff, is a master manipulator. The patriarch has been hoping to sell the family farm to his children one day, but it looks like negotiations have broken down. Amidst their ongoing feud, Zach is finally opening up.
The famed TLC show followed Matt and Amy Roloff, who were married but got divorced in 2016. The early seasons showed viewers what life was like for a little person. Little People Big World shared the lives of Matt, who has dwarfism, and mom Amy, who has achondroplasia, and their four children: Jeremy, Zach, Molly, and Jacob. The family has been growing in recent years, as all of the siblings have gotten married and are starting to have children of their own. Zach has been the only child who was still committed to filming alongside his parents. However, after a recent falling out, fans are not sure where he stands with his father, Matt.
For years, TLC viewers watched as Matt put his blood, sweat, and tears into the Oregon farm. The land includes an old west-type castle and a pumpkin patch. The Roloff children were lucky to be able to grow up on such a large piece of land where they could run around and play. However, as adulthood and responsibilities kicked in, it seems Matt’s oldest Zach is not thrilled with how his father chose money over family. Many feel that Zach has learned a hard life lesson, noting that he has realized Matt is not the supportive father the Roloff kids had thought he would be. Zack spoke out against hit father in a recent Instagram post, noting that Matt was trying to “manipulate the storyline” on Little People, Big World.
Matt’s refusal to act in the family’s best interest is not new and can often be seen throughout the early seasons. There were times when Matt would flat out refuse to attend Zach’s soccer games because they bored him. TLC cameras even caught Matt deciding whether or not he would attend the twin’s high school graduation. This is not the first time Matt has tried his best to control a situation. The Little People, Big World star also left multiple family vacations early and has bad-mouthed his then-wife Amy.
Many Little People Big World fans feel Zach is doing the right thing by calling his father out. It’s evident Zach is trying to protect his own family from the decades of toxicity he experienced at the hands of his father. While Zach may be hurting now, he is candidly revealing what his childhood and young adult life has been like and taking control back from his manipulative father.
