In the suit, JJD — run by a man named Jamie Dominquez — claims it met with one of Tekashi’s reps Will Cornish. They agreed to have him perform in Houston on June 27, 2021 at the Humble Civic Center.
Tekashi was $45k upon execution of the paperwork and another $75k in cash on the day of the event. He would also get $20k for a jet from Boca Roton to Texas. The promoter did everything he was supposed to do but Tekashi still failed to perform.
The suit says JJD Entertainment spent $178k as well as over $100k for the venue rental, security and insurance as well as defamation as 6ix9ine claimed the promoter did not pay him the money agreed.
