During her Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club panel at BravoCon on Sunday, Vicki slammed Steve and made bold a bold allegation. She claimed that the politician is currently cheating on his new wife, Janis Carlson, and she has concrete “proof.”
“He’s out cheating on his wife, I’m sure,” Vicki alleged. “And I have proof he is. A cheater’s a cheater.”
Vicki didn’t go into further detail, but Steve definitely got word of Vicki’s claims and is calling her bluff. Steve vehemently denies all allegations of infidelity and says Vicki is attention-starved and wants publicity.
“I would never cheat on Janis. I haven’t the slightest idea of what Vicki is lying about now. This is just another stunt of Vicki’s to get attention,” Steve told Page Six. “She’s obviously lying again; it’s apparently pathological with her. She really needs to get some physiological help and definitely needs to leave us alone.”
This isn’t the first time Vicki has accused Steve of being unfaithful. She has accused Steve of cheating on her multiple times throughout their relationship.
“While I was out of town working on a biz trip, [Lodge] took [a woman] to my condo in Mexico!” she alleged on Instagram back in 2021. “He’s been flaunting around my town in OC making out in public places. It’s disgusting.”
“If he states he didn’t cheat on me, then why did you continue to live with me? That’s my question to him. Why did you lead me to believe we were going to be OK? Because I was in it for life,” Vicki lamented to Page Six back in February.
Steve is not letting a disgruntled Vicki get to him, though, as he says he’s the happiest he’s ever been and that he “hopes” Vicki “gets the help she needs.”
“I really hope she gets the help she needs to do that. Janis and I are very happily married and totally in love. We are enjoying our life together and are looking forward to some fun and exciting changes coming in 2023,” Steve concluded.
As for Vicki, she has since moved on with a new beau named Michael, who she has introduced to her friends and family. Vicki says the two have “tons of fun” and “lots of laughs.” The Coto Insurance founder said that though she’s happy now, she’s grateful for all the trials and tribulations she experienced over the past year, calling it a “season.”
“Last year, at this time it was not good. I wanted to die,” Vicki admitted. “I mean, I was that depressed. So, I did a lot of soul-searching, a lot of journaling. I read my Bible daily. I reflect back on it as a season. Learn from it and realize that this is just a season, and we will get through it.”
