Rescue underway after horse trapped south of Sydney
Fire crews are on the scene after a horse found itself in a tight spot in the Macarthur region, south-west of Sydney.
Fire and Rescue NSW’s Oak Ridge team posted a photo of the nettled nag after it had fallen into what looked like an old underground tank on a rural property.
“Our truck is currently on scene at a horse rescue along with FR @Belimbla Park,” they wrote on their Facebook page.
The heavy rescue team was en route to assist.
It’s not known if the horse is injured but it appeared to be standing calmly.
The Macarthur region was at the centre of some of the recent flooding, with Camden being inundated for the fourth time this year.
