The Duke and the Duchess of Sussex are celebrating their son Archie’s second birthday on Thursday. The couple, who are expecting their second child, may already have plans for the special day or could chose to spend it at their Santa Barbara mansion.
Meghan can also look forward to the US celebration of Mother’s Day on Sunday.
Earlier this week, the Duchess announced she would be releasing a children’s book based on the close bond of Prince Harry and Archie.
In a statement, the 39-year-old said she was inspired to write the book after penning a poem for her husband on his first Father’s Day.
Puffin, an imprint of Penguin Random House Children’s UK, confirmed Meghan’s debut book would be called The Bench.
The publication will feature colourful illustrations by award-winning artist Christian Robinson.
But the news caused controversy among royal fans, who took to social media platforms to express their opinions.
Some claimed the book would contradict Meghan’s desire for family privacy.
One user said: “Bringing attention to the internal dynamics of your own husband and son’s relationship seems to counter the privacy requirements of this couple.”
