A longstanding host of Fox NFL Sunday, Bradshaw was set to participate in the NFC Championship post-game celebration. However, he was unable to attend due to illness, as reported by Andrew Marchand of The New York Post on Sunday, citing that Bradshaw was “under the weather” and would not be featured in Fox’s pregame coverage.

Curt Menefee, during the NFL on Fox Pregame show, addressed Bradshaw’s absence, noting, “Terry Bradshaw, usually right here for all 30 years. However, Bradshaw is currently feeling a little under the weather. He is taking the evening off.”

Terry Bradshaw is a well-known figure in the NFL, having achieved great success as a quarterback, winning four Super Bowls with the Pittsburgh Steelers and earning Super Bowl MVP honors twice. Post-retirement, he was rightfully inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Beyond his playing career, Bradshaw has established himself as a prominent television personality, participating in programs such as The Bradshaw Bunch and co-hosting FOX NFL Sunday.

It’s worth mentioning that Terry Bradshaw has faced health challenges in recent years, including a diagnosis of bladder cancer in 2021. He underwent surgery to remove the bladder tumor at Yale University Medical Center. Subsequently, an MRI revealed a Merkel cell tumor, a rare and hazardous form of skin cancer, in his neck.

However, in 2022, Bradshaw shared the positive news that he was cancer-free. He expressed his well-being during a Fox NFL Sundays broadcast, stating, “I feel great now that I’m cancer-free. And eventually, I’ll be back where I usually am.”

While Bradshaw has also dealt with knee surgery affecting his television appearances, it remains unclear whether his current illness, leading to his absence from the Fox NFC Championship game, is related to any of these prior health issues.
