The Aftershock event, held from October 5 to October 8, attracted a multitude of attendees to Sacramento, yet amid the festivities, numerous individuals voiced concerns over the theft of their phones. Tracie Arnaud, a resident of Rancho Cordova, recounted how her phone was stolen on the Friday of the festival, only realizing the loss at the conclusion of the evening.

Recalling the incident, Arnaud expressed, “Everything was fine. We were leaving the show, and suddenly, I found myself searching for my phone – to no avail.” Highlighting the significance of the device, she added, “Everything is literally on your phone. It’s sad to admit, but it’s like your lifeline, so it’s a little unsettling.”

Upon discovering the theft, Arnaud promptly disabled her phone and procured a replacement from the store the following day. It was during this process that she learned she was not the sole individual to have experienced such an ordeal during this year’s Aftershock event.

According to Arnaud, “The AT&T guy had mentioned that there were approximately nine people ahead of me who had encountered the same issue, and that was around 10:45 in the morning.”

Meanwhile, Jeffrey Helton, who journeyed from Dallas, Texas, specifically to attend this year’s Aftershock event, recounted that his phone was stolen on the Thursday night of the festival.
