The Survival Gameplay
The game starts with a world that is a result of a nuclear Third World War. The war destroyed a maximum part of the world, and only a few areas are there to live. Navezgane, Arizona, is one such area where the game happens. The player here plays as a survivor of the war, and to live, he must find food, shelter, and water, and supplies.
However, he must also keep himself safe against the zombies who are out there on the hunt. The zombies here are a consequence of the nuclear war, and now the player has to survive among them. The overall objective is to survive in such type of world while not getting killed.
As it is a survival game, the player needs constant water, food, and supplies. He constantly looks for shelters as well, where he can hide when the sun goes down. The game supports construction as well, something similar to Minecraft, which all leads to better survival. The player also has to look constantly for new objects as they degrade with time. So the player keeps searching for some or the other thing while not becoming food to zombies.

Remember that Number 1 and 2 spots are available only when you play Alpha 17 or higher. You would not find any direct map to go there; they look similar to any building. However, once you have reached there, you can mark it with a waypoint.
